Hush little baby don't say a word,
Mama's gonna buy you a mocking bird.

And if that mocking bird don't sing,
Mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring.

And if that diamond ring don't shine,
Mama's gonna buy herself a bottle of wine.

And when that wine does her some good,
Mama's gonna buy you a riding hood.

And if that riding hood won't fit,
Mama's gonna have to re-sew it.

And if that riding hood does tear,
Mama's gonna get you a juicy pear.

And if that juicy pear ain't sweet,
Mama's gonna get you some other treat.

And if by then you still won't sleep,
Mama's gonna get you a bed of sheep.

And if you still won't close you eyes,
Mama won't tell you any lies.

She'll lean in close and whisper to you,
"Mama's gonna love you whatever you do."
