Pieces

I cannot express how much I love this song! and it's by one of my favorite bands too. This and Take me away by globus send shivers down my spine. Why don't I have this on my ipod? oh yeah, 'cause I don't have any money... huh.

Anyway the song is Pieces by Red

Gosh Darn It!

I have to keep this stupid expander on for 6 more weeks! Grr. I was hoping since I've been careful with it they might bump up the date for when i get it off. But, sadly, no. At least I can talk almost normally now...watch, I'll have mastered talking with this thing one and then they'll just take it right off. Yep, that's how it'll be. *Sigh* I hate my mouth...

I do not Sup...

Nor do I drink *waited pause* vine... okay now just imagine Count Dracula saying that in his awesome accent. You know, I've never seen the full movie, but i could have sworn that line was in it near the beginning. I do not drink...wine. I know it was in Conker's Bad Fur day, 'cause I've seen it personally, and I think I've seen a scene with it in a black and white movie, but so far it hasn't come up in the book, but then again I'm only on chapter 6... You know how out of touch I am with the 19th century or whenever this book was originally written? I didn't know what shorthand writing was and when it said Doctor Sewar's diary was kept in phonograph I thought it was kept inside a phonograph (you know, the old record player...thing)*facepalm*. It turns out my mom had to take a semester class on shorthand writing and she absolutely hated it, and so did my dad apparently. I would be right in Dracula's boat there, I can't read a bunch of squiggles and make sense of them either. I really hope Jonathan Harkar is still alive, he was kinda cool and definitely braver than i would have been if I found out I was being held prisoner by a bunch of vampires. ha, I probably would have thrown myself off a tower or something (I hate feeling trapped)But the Count doesn't seem that bad right now...maybe even a little bit sadistically friendly. I guess he likes his food a little insane when he eats it.

Ah...do you here that? The creatures of the night! Now I know that line was definitely in one of the movies! Take care.

Mother

Oh Madame, Oh Madame,
you've fallen so far
who knew that once
you were as high as a star?

Oh Madame, Oh Madame,
so loud and so fun
there was never a cloud
that could black out your sun.

Oh Madame, Oh Madame,
it all fell apart
the dream had ended
and you woke with a start.

Oh Madame, Oh Madame,
beaten and broken and colored deep red
you drew back, secluded,
inside your own head.

Oh Madame, Oh Madame,
you did no more than scream,
calling for help
to the one not seen.

Oh Madame, Oh Madame,
this is not the end
though it may seem
like you don't have one friend.

Oh Madame, Oh Madame,
you're not alone
we're here together
in this land of the unknown.

Oh Madame, Oh Madame,
is this where you land?
On the edge of the world
refusing to accept the offered hand?

Oh Madame, Oh Madame,
please speak to me
maybe then and only then
will you be set free.

Oh Madame, Oh Madame,
we can help one another.
So please, oh please
Mother, my mother.

Have a little Faith...

Yay! I now have a Cluster map! and it's all thanks to a girl named Faith. I would say more about her, but I don't want anything bad to happen (this is the Internet after all). She was the one I had ranted about in my last post, but I was in a bad mood when I did that and we get on each others nerves a lot, so I hope it's alright now :) That reminds me...I gotta follow her blog since she's following mine. It's the friendly thing to do after all. Hehehehhehehhe! I'm happy now.

Take 172...AAANND ACTION!!!

Alrighty Roo guys. Today was mostly spent on the CSI project i have to do for Bio. I left my house at 12:10 and I just got home at 7. I also fell on my tailbone pretty hard so I think its bruised... total :( moment. Oh well, there was plenty of fun times though, like I got to ride in Jolie's car 3 times and one of them was with the hood down. I got to pretend to beet Jordan with a hockey stick right in front of a Church on a popular road (we got so many funny looks It was great!). The only problem was that Faith was being a bitchy prat who had to control every single situation. She's been annoying the hell out of me for the past 2 weeks and I have no idea why, I swear this is like, our fifth fight or something. Oh well, let's cut that rant off right here. Anyway I thought she was going to burst a blood vessel or something when we kept ignoring her in Brianna's barn. But I just gotta say one thing: just because it may look like we're not listening to you, doesn't mean we're not. *Sigh* everyone just needs to calm down. Afterwords Jordan, Jolie, and I were going to see a movie but when we got to the theaters none of the one we wanted to see were showing, so we went to Wallmart to get a cheep one to watch at Jordan's, but the one we wanted was rated R and we got busted at the Self check-out because none of us were 17. Then some lady came and took the movie away...:( I didn't even know Wallmart did that... huh. So next weekend we're going to see if we can catch and earlier movie, it should be fun.

Have a happy happy joy joy day! :)

Become One with Russia...KOLKOLKOLKOLKOL

I just discovered Axis Powers Hetalia yesterday and I gotta say... I freakin' love it! It's one of those things that's so stupid, it's funny. Each country is portrayed so stereotypically correct, its amazing. I mean, I was eating a hamburger from McDonald's when America showed up eating one too. I don't think i've ever learned more history from any cartoon before. I know it's sad but i didn't even know some of the countries in the show existed, but then again I usually fail any test that requires me to fill out a map of some kind (that's another thing that i have in common with America). It's hard to find a character that i don't like in the series, which is awesome. But my favorites are probably Russia (of course), Germany (He tries so hard to be serious), N.Italy (Pasta), Japan (I can never tell what he's thinking XD), England (he has way too many imaginary friends), America ("I'm the hero!" Pfft XP), France (Discovered the true Olympics), China (The one America always chooses), Prussia (makes every flashback funny), Austria (I thought N.Italy was a girl at first too), Greece (srsly what are you on!?), Canada (Who are you again?- "I'm Canada!"), Ancient Roman Empire (Aren't you supposed to be dead?), Holy Roman Empire (You do know N.Italy's a guy right?) I love them all.

I literally laughed out loud at some of the stuff that's on this series. The rest of the time I had a huge stupid smile on my face. *sigh* It's been such a long time since I've laughed so hard. One last word...VODKAAAA!!!!

Non-believer

Outnumbered you stand,
Hated by those around you
Spat upon by would be friends.
They try and try
To make you,
To force you,
To change.
Failing that,
They condemn you,
Damn you,
Torture you.
But still you stand,
Outnumbered but not alone,
The heretics,
The infidels,
The non-believers.

Friendly Competition

Remember that reading competition I had with Taylor? Well i finished my book before she did, but then she said it was unfair because I had to read less than 100 pages when she had to read over 200. Yeah, that was a bit unfair, but she did agree to it so... well anyway she started a new one between the two of us. I had started the scarlet letter right after I finished with the pimpernel. I had just skipped the first 50 pages of the pointless introduction when Taylor bet that she could read her last 150 pages faster than I could read my last 150. That seemed even right? My font is way smaller than hers and more closely spaced together. I don't remember agreeing to this new bet, but then again I don't remember a lot of things...
It turns out that the Scarlet Letter hasn't really grabbed my attention yet (maybe it will but I don't know) and when I was trying to read it other people were talking and I wasn't taking any of it in except that Hester has to stand in front of a crowd with her baby for 3 hours and she cheated on her husband who may or may not be dead at the moment... oh and some guy with lopsided shoulders is talking to a native American... Then again I've only read about ten pages into the actual story of the book.

It doesn't really matter anyway because Taylor e-mailed me last night saying she finished her book. *shrugs* I'm a slow reader when I'm not interested in the book. Maybe I should put Scarlet letter up for a bit and read Dracula (its next on my lists of classics). I've already been sifting through it and all the different letters from different people are interesting. Yeah, that's probably what I'll do.

It's raining and i was about to go for a walk... oh well. Have a super special awesome day!!!! ;D

You mean the Scarlet Pumpernickel?

I just finished the Scarlet Pimpernel today! You know, it was much better than i had originally thought. I want to see the play version of it now! I heard there was a sword fight in there or something...but I don't see where a sword fight would turn up after reading the original story... hmm I wonder how they did that? Marguerite got so much better by the end of the book (I didn't like her very much, though I loved Sir Percy right away for some reason... maybe it was because I already knew he was the Pimpernel and he was just pretending to be an idiot).
*insert inane laugh here*

Well anyway I'm going to start on the Scarlet Letter soon. Man...you know what i just realized? I've been reading a lot of books that have something to do with Scarlet stuff. Scarlet Pimpernel, Scarlet Letter, heck even Reliable wife kept referencing that Scarlet dress she used to wear (and she used to be a scarlet woman, I'm sorry a lady of the evening).

Tootaloo! Don't cry over badly graded milk!

Unsung Hero

There are no songs for you
No stories to tell.
Forever your name
Is overshadowed
By giants of greatness
Emblazed in glory,
Immortal by their deeds.
But there you are,
Small and silent
Little know of your triumph
Few care what you have done.
Those who do soon forget
But you will always know
You: the unsung hero.

Kinda weird...

I actually dreamt last night! That's an accomplishment for me because usually I just go to sleep, wake up a couple times during the night, and then wake up in the morning. But last night was different I tell you!

Alright, so it all started with a giant swimming pool, you know like they have at the Y and stuff. Well, I was standing in the pool with a bunch of other people cheering their heads off. Apparently there was a water basketball game going on at the moment and all the stars were coming out to play. It turns out that the lead player for one team was a midget, or little person (I don't want to offend), who was kinda chubby. During the game the little guy would ride on someone else's shoulders and jump to make baskets. Well his team won and everyone went wild! After that he goes over to his lover and just starts making out. He was gay, it seemed. I started crying because it was just so sweet or something. And then this surfer dude paddles out to the middle of the pool where everyone is and starts telling us stupid stuff about surfing and how its dangerous or something. Then i woke up.

the weirdest thing is...I went to bed with one pillow and I woke up with two, weird huh? Maybe that's why my cat won't sleep in the same bed with me anymore...

Have a good day and try not to get into any fights. I, amazingly, didn't.

Wednesday

You stand in the middle
Always the neutral day.
We don't know whether
To hate you or love you.
We just want you over with
So we can wait
And rejoice
For the coming days.

Tears of an Angel

I just discovered this beautiful song!! I can't believe I've never listened to it before...it's so beautiful. Makes me wanna cry...

Song: Tears of an Angel
Artist: RyanDan

So today...

Today at school I have found that I can be a very unsencere person... and that I'm an annoying brat. But boy am I not the only one! (Believing Without Seeing I'm looking at you!!! >:P ) Well anyway, I pissed some people off today and then i got pissed for no apparent reason that I can remember. So If I started any fights today, then they were probably my fault.

Now that we've got that over with...how about some good stuff that I've done today? Let's see here... I got into a reading challenge with Taylor ( I think I'll win because her book is like 600 pages long and mine doesn't even reach 300, btw I'm on page 201... it would be sad if I lost), I connected with Jordan and Jolie over math and how much we hate it, I performed decently in our commercial in English and I took the lowest grade in our group because I was honest when i said I did the least out of the three of us (I miss the days of Antigone when i got to be Creon). I think that's it...hmm... oh that's right! I didn't get angry when Cupka divided us into two sections and put my small section in the back and gave us tests while she gave the rest of the class cupcakes. I didn't write I hate you all over that test either.

Now I'm done... have a good day and remember to always wait until that person is out of earshot before you start ranting about them. ;D

Sincerely, Your Teddybear

I was your friend,
beyond all doubt,
you hugged me and kissed me
and waved me about.

We went everywhere,
always together.
In the sun, in the rain,
through any kind of weather.

You told me your secrets
and we snuggled real close.
You are my friend
and I love you the most.

But over the years,
you drifted away
leaving me behind
without any say.

I don't blame you,
I never will.
You need more than me
to have your proper fill.

I miss those times
now that we're not together
but always in my heart
You'll be my best friend forever.

Jealousy

I felt you again today,
Your furtive ways catching me off guard.
My eyes burned green as your sharp teeth and poisoned claws
Dug deep into my mind,
Tearing away at my confidence and breaking down my worth.
Why should they be rewarded for their little effort,
When you put forth so much more?
Your waspish voice hissed in my ear.

I turned my face away,
Afraid they will see your ugly green gaze,
Terrified of what they would think
If they knew you were apart of me.
