Nor do I drink *waited pause* vine... okay now just imagine Count Dracula saying that in his awesome accent. You know, I've never seen the full movie, but i could have sworn that line was in it near the beginning. I do not drink...wine. I know it was in Conker's Bad Fur day, 'cause I've seen it personally, and I think I've seen a scene with it in a black and white movie, but so far it hasn't come up in the book, but then again I'm only on chapter 6... You know how out of touch I am with the 19th century or whenever this book was originally written? I didn't know what shorthand writing was and when it said Doctor Sewar's diary was kept in phonograph I thought it was kept inside a phonograph (you know, the old record player...thing)*facepalm*. It turns out my mom had to take a semester class on shorthand writing and she absolutely hated it, and so did my dad apparently. I would be right in Dracula's boat there, I can't read a bunch of squiggles and make sense of them either. I really hope Jonathan Harkar is still alive, he was kinda cool and definitely braver than i would have been if I found out I was being held prisoner by a bunch of vampires. ha, I probably would have thrown myself off a tower or something (I hate feeling trapped)But the Count doesn't seem that bad right now...maybe even a little bit sadistically friendly. I guess he likes his food a little insane when he eats it.
Ah...do you here that? The creatures of the night! Now I know that line was definitely in one of the movies! Take care.
